I don't know the aeglas, but I looked on planet invert & saw some info about them. Pretty cool. If you get one or some, you need to tell us more about it from your experience. Will one of your tanks be for freshwater critters?

I bought some a few years ago off of Aquabid from the seller Crayfish_germany, but was not successful with them.  I recall that they liked to burrow and were not out and about much when the lights were on.  I think my main issue was not keeping the tank temps under 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

This German site has some basic info on them:  http://www.wirbellose.de/arten.cgi?action=show&artNo=295

Here's the Google translation link of the above.  I hope it works!

Hello nasta and seiji-

Welcome to the Forum (both of you)!!

nasta, the Aeglas are kinda cool - but I wouldn't have touched the creepy little fella  Shocked !  Seriously, you should try them and let us know what you think.  For one, I am always fascinated by the diversity of life that exists.

Go for it!  And again, welcome.

El.

If these guys need cooler temps that means they need more oxygen. Higher temperatures = lower oxygen = dead aegla.
