These plants were made very popular by Tashashi Amano, from his beautiful "Nature Aquarium World" books. They are difficult to grow and need moderate to high lighting. I've noticed that mine have larger leaves in moderate lighting and tend to have very small leaves in bright lights. The hardest part about growing Glossostigma is getting some healthy plants to your tank. Even then they can be touchy. They seem to like lots of water changes. They often do better with additives and CO2 though they can grow in natural aquariums also.
